INTRO

HideIconHack hides some application icons you want to hide on launcher.
Since this was just one day work, so this is a freeware. :)
If you are thinking like below, it is good for you to use HideIconHack.

- I don't use Address Book, Mail, some of other default application. I want to delete them from launcher.
- Sometimes I select Welcome app. I don't like that.
- I have TRG FlashPro image on my flash, but I don't want to see it on Launcher.
- I don't want to see HackMaster from launcher.

WHAT'S NEW

Jun/03/99 HideIconHack 1.1 released
becomes more speedy.
May/28/99 HideIconHack 1.0 released
1st release.

PLATFORM

PalmOS 3.0 or later (PalmIII/PalmIIIx/PalmV/WorkPad etc...)

INSTALLATION

HideIconHack is a HackMaster extension. You will need a copy of the HackMaster
application from "MisterEd"(Edward Keyes) at DaggerWare.(http://www.daggerware.com/hackmstr.htm)
Hackmaster is a shareware. So don't forget to register HackMaster at PalmPilotGear.:)
Install Hackmaster first (if not already installed), then install HideIconHack.prc
using InstApp or any other application to install.

Then launch Hackmaster on your PalmOS.
Tap cross icon on for HideIconHack and display HideIconHack Setup dialog.
Add application you want to hide from launcher using "Add" button.
After finishing this setup for HideIconHack, push "Done" button.
(Current max app to hide is 100.)
And turn on the check box for HideIconHack on Hackmaster.

Goto launcher tapping Application silk button on Palm.
You found that some apps icons are hidden.

Enjoy!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you switch between HackMaster and HideIconHack 15 times,
You can get a fatal error like below:

MemoryMgrNew.c
Line: XXXX, chunk over-locked

Edward Keyes (coded HackMaster) told me this might be a HackMaster bug
of DmGetNextDatabaseByTypeCreator Patch.
Maybe all you have to do is just pushing reset button on palm if you get this fatal error.
Workaround for this is turning off HideIconHack check once and turn on it again,
when you switched to HackMaster.
Another workaround is hiding HackMaster itself and never touch it. :)
