7 Currency Exchange

The Currency Exchange application converts an amount from one currency to a range of others simultaneously. You start the application tap the Currency Exchange icon (first on left) in the "Menu" view.

7-1 How to use Currency Exchange

Select a currency from the dropdown list and enter an amount. Then tap the "" button. A list will appear showing the entered amount in the selected currency, and its equivalent in a range of currencies. You can enter the amount in the number area using graffiti, or by using the calculator interface which appears if you tap the "" button.

7-2 How to change the "home" currency, add a currency or update the exchange rate.

Tap the "Set" button in the "Currency Exchange" view and the "Set Currency Rate" view appears. From here you can edit the currency names and adjust the rates. The first currency on the list is the "home currency". If you want to change the position of a particular currency in the list, tap on the currency name once and then press the "up" or "down" hardware buttons to promote or relegate it one place in the list. When you have finished, tap "OK" (or push "Cancel" to cancel). You can also note the date of your currency updates by tapping in the date box.
