The installer will not function on unsupported handhelds. VERSAMAIL "ALWAYS CONNECT USING" FEATURE ======================================== VersaMail has an "Always connect using" preference setting (Options>Mail Servers) that will cause VersaMail to attempt to connect to a mail server via something other than Wi-Fi even if you have Wi-Fi turned on. Make certain that you either disable the "Always connect using" feature in VersaMail, or set it to Wi-Fi if you encounter this problem. TROUBLESHOOTING THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS ======================================== While palmOne has tested the Wi-Fi Card with many third-party applications, we cannot ensure compatibility with all third-party applications. SYNCHRONIZING USING A WI-FI CONNECTION ====================================== Depending on your wireless network configuration, using the full primary PC name may not allow you to synchronize over Wi-Fi. This is because some Wi-Fi networks (particularly Wi-Fi networks set up at home) do not have DNS servers to resolve the primary PC name. One option is to enter !! in the Primary PC Name field. This tells your system to use the IP address instead of the primary PC name. OTHER ISSUES ============ If the handheld displays an error message that indicates you are using an unsupported Wi-Fi card, eject the palmOne Wi-Fi card and reinsert it before the next attempt to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
