MultiColor skin

Because OmniRemote's user interface is completely configurable, you can create or download new skins and make it look exactly the way you want. In this folder you will find a file called "MultiColor.PDB". This file is the MultiColor skin for OmniRemote. It is just one example of the many interesting looks you can give your remote controls.

This database uses some of the new button styles introduced in version 2.11 of the OmniRemote Pro software. Older versions of the software will not display these screens correctly.

To use this file, install "MultiColor.PDB" onto your handheld using the standard PalmOS install tool. Launch OmniRemote and click Menu|Advanced|Databases. Select "MultiColor" from the drop-down list and click Load.

Because OmniRemote skins are configurable you can easily re-name these existing buttons or delete buttons that you don't need. You can also use "select all", "copy" and "paste" to move these screens to a different database if you prefer to use just some of them.

All of the buttons in these screens were very carefully hand positioned by the original artist. In some cases layering and transparent buttons were used. Because of this, re-positioning of the buttons is an advanced technique. It is recommended that you make backup copies of your database frequently if you intend to make modifications to the sizes or positions of the existing buttons. Providing that your HotSync settings are configured properly, after you HotSync your handheld your database will be stored in a folder called "backup" on your desktop computer. If you do not know where this folder is located, you can use your operating system's search or find feature. If you have not renamed it, this database will be named "MultiColor.PDB".

Below you will find screenshots of the 16 screens which are contained within this database.
