Q: What is Kyle's Quest 2? A: Kyle's Quest 2 is a role-playing game (RPG) engine that runs levels created with the KQ2 level editor. You install the levels in .pdb form and run KQ2 to choose which level to play. You can find more levels from http://www.crimsonfire.com Q: Can KQ2 load levels from the original Kyle's Quest? A: No. Kyle's Quest 2 has many improvements over the original, so the two are incompatible. Q: What do all the abbreviations like HP and SP mean? A: Below are the common RPG abbreviations HP: Health Points - How much health your character has. When this reaches 0, you die SP: Spell Points - Used to cast spells. NOTE: Some games (like Bones) don't have any spells available at all. Check the individual level docs to see STR: Strength - Causes more damage when you attack an opponent AGL: Agility - Allows you to attack better as well as evade blows INT: Intelligence - Gold: Used to purchase weapons and supplies Q: I'm stuck at a certain part in the game! Where do I go for help? A: The best way is to post a message on our community discussion forums. http://www.crimsonfire.com/community Q: I have a greyscale device and the game is too dark or strange lines appear! A: This is a common problem with Handspring devices and the cheap LCDs they use. Be sure to go to PalmGear.com and search for "no streak hack". Q: I have a sony clie nr70 palm. The problem with KQ2 is I cant get out of kq2, the part of the screen where the calculator and the house are disapear with kq2. Is there a way around this? A: If you have the app launcher SilverScreen set to use fullscreen mode, it will interfere with the normal operation of the game. You will have to do a soft reset with a paperclip and then disable fullscreen mode in SilverScreen. Q: I get a fatal error when I start the game. It doesn't say anything but "fatal error" and forces me to reset. A: Make sure you have installed all the required .prc and .pdb files (see readme.txt). Also try disabling any hacks and app launchers and doing a soft reset before playing the game, to determine if it is a third-party app that is really the culprit. If you are still getting crashes, be sure to email support@crimsonfire.com and we'll try to help you out!
