- About Benchmark

This app benchmarks your Palm relative to other Palm models.  It measures
CPU performance and bus bandwidth utilization.  Higher percentages = faster
perfomance.

Benchmark performs a CPU and memory-intensive Fibonacci calculation to test
speed and bus bandwidth utilization.


NEW IN VERSION 2.0: The Visor Platinum has been added to the table, and the
baseline 100% device is now the Palm IIIe/IIIxe.


Benchmark was written and compiled on-board a Palm Vx using Quartus Forth.
It's a freeware demonstration of Quartus Forth' ability to produce compact,
fast, stand-alone apps.
