Silkypad is intended for demo purposes for a breakthrough new product -
Silkyboard, which can make your life much easier. Silkyboard is a keyboard
on a screen protector that fits onto the Graffiti area. With Silkyboard you
enter letters, numbers and punctuation marks by simple taps and still can

This approach is so powerful that even a Silkypad, freeware version of
the Silkyboard, is an individual useful application!


       ------- Typing
       
Silkypad converts the numeric part of Graffiti writing area into 
a 3x4 numeric keypad. You can select from two layouts: "calculator"
or "dialing pad". Pressing the Silkypad numeric buttons instead of 
writing Graffiti strokes you can enter numbers 3 times faster. 
Holding a button down for a short period of time gives you a punctuation 
mark: @,#,$,%, etc. Now you don't need to keep in mind how to write them 
using Graffiti.


       ------- Writting

But what is even more exciting, you can still write Graffiti numbers
as you always did. How is it possible? Read the section "How it Works"

       ------- Wide Grafffiti - v.1.1 update

"Split" checkbox. When it is unchecked - Silkypad unifies alpha and numeric
parts of the Graffiti writing area. This let you to write Graffiti letters
at either part of writing area and, as a result, to improve the accuracy
of text input. At the same time all you will need to do to enter a number
will be tapping a numeric key.


       ------- Punctuation Shift

You will find that you can not use Graffiti Punctuation Shift mode the same way
you did it before. To activate Punctuation Shift, instead of tapping the screen
make a stroke similar to Enter, but from the lower right to upper left. Then
write a Graffiti symbol as usual to enter a punctuation mark.


       ------- Standby mode

In Standby mode only Graffiti writing is recognized by the system, the keypad is
inactive. Write a big stroke at the bottom of Graffiti area similar to Backspace,
as if you underline your PDA screen frame. The stroke should be no less than eight
keys of the Silkypad. You will hear a beep indicating that the Standby mode is on
(Silkypad is inactive).

To activate the Silkypad (Standby off) make the same "underlining" stroke in the
opposite direction: from the left to the right.


       ------- How to install?

Install as usual application. 
If On box on the Silkypad panel is not checked - check it.


       ------- How to delete?

Uncheck On box on the Silkypad panel at first.
Delete as usual application after that.
