Play a video, press ‘Done’ and exit the application. Launch the Media application again and play the same video right where you left off.

The Media player remembers the file location of the last 10 played videos.
Play a video, press ‘Done’ and exit the application. Launch the Media application again and play the same video right where you left off.
Enhance your slide show with motion transitions.
Enjoy your photo slide show with fun transitions.
Press Menu, under the ‘Slide Show...’ menu, select a transition next to the ‘Transitions’ pull-down.
Add a voice clip to a photo.
You can record and playback a voice clip on a photo.
Select and tap on a photo to display it in full screen mode. Press the 5-way down button until the toolbar is displayed. Select the microphone icon to record a voice caption.
After recording, you may play the voice clip during a slide show (see ‘Slide Show…’ Options Menu) or from the ‘Play Audio’ Media pull down menu item.
Find media on your device.
Select “Browse…” from the top right Albums pull down menu. Select the folder where your media is located.
Hint: The DCIM folder may contain photos and videos from your digital still camera, if you used the Camera Companion application.
Zoom in on a photo.
You can get a closer view of your photo by pushing the 5-way ‘Up’ button while the photo is displayed in full screen.
Pressing the 5-way ‘Down’ button will return to previous zoom level.
Auto-rotate photos and videos during a slide show.
The device can automatically rotate your photos and videos during a slide show for optimum viewing on the display.
Press Menu, under the ‘Slide Show…’ menu, select ‘Yes’ next to the ‘Auto Rotate’ option.
Play music during a slide show
The device can play music in the background while it is displaying a photo slide show.
Press Menu, under the ‘Slide Show…’ menu, select ‘Background Music’ next to ‘Audio’ and locate your music file.
View detailed information about your digital photo.
If your photo originated from a digital still camera, you may view detailed information stored with the photo. For example: date picture was taken, camera make, photo resolution…
To view this information, highlight the photo, press Menu, under the Media menu select ‘Edit Details…’ and ‘Exif Details’.
Position photos for optimum viewing.
You can position the photo on the device screen by selecting it and dragging with the stylus. Align the desired center of the image with the center of the screen.
The device will remember this position when you open the photo the next time.
View synchronized photos and videos.
Locate photos you have synchronized from your computer to your device in this application.
Select ‘All’ from the album picker, at the top right, to view your new photos and videos.
Save photos on your SD card (card sold separately).
Save space on your device by storing pictures directly on your SD card.
Press Menu, under the Media menu select ‘Copy to Card…’.
Media is your ‘companion’ to Camera Companion.
The Media application is your window to enjoying copied photos and videos from your digital camera card (card sold separately) using the Camera Companion application.
Use the separate Camera Companion application, located in Favorites, to copy all of the photos and videos from your digital camera card. From Camera Companion, launch Media to view and enjoy your photos and videos.
