<li> <b>If you currently have custom icons, it is not necessary for you to install the icon files included in this zip. Installing
the new icon files will remove any custom icons you may have created.</b>
<li> <b><font size="2">If you are a previous Action Names user, and are installing Action Names
directly over your current version, your preferences will be reset to the defaults.</b>

<P><STRONG>Windows</STRONG></P>

<LI type=1>Launch the PalmPilot or <b>Palm Desktop Install Tool</b> by tapping Start | Programs | PalmPilot
Desktop 2.0 (Palm Desktop) | PalmPilot Install Tool (Palm Install Tool).
<p>
<li type="1"><b>Choose your Palm device User name</b> from the
drop down list on the Install Tool. The Install Tool will queue the
application for installation to your PalmPilot (Palm III, Palm IIIx, etc.) on
the next synchronization. If you are not sure of your Palm device User name,
tap the HotSync� icon on your Palm device. A screen will appear which says,
"Welcome, . name. ". This is the name which must appear in the User Name field
on the Install Tool. If the correct name is not one of the choices on the drop
down list, then you will need to first synchronize the PalmPilot (Palm III,
etc.) to establish the name on the User Name list.

<li type="1">Locate the Action Names application called <b>ActNames.prc</b>
by tapping the Browse button (Add...on the newer Palm IIIs, etc.). Once
you locate it, double click it to select it. This will prepare the application
to be installed on the PalmPilot (Palm III, etc.) with the next synchronization.

<li><b><font color="Red" size="2">If you have a color device</font></b>: Please also locate the following application
called <b>ANIcons-Color.prc</b> and install using the above instructions.
<li> <b><font color="Red" size="2">If you have a black and white device:</font></b> please locate the following
application called <b>ANIcons-B&W.prc</b> and install using the above instructions.

<li type="1">Dock your PalmPilot (Palm III, Palm IIIx, etc.) in the
cradle and <b>press the HotSync button</b>.

<li type="1">After synchronization, tap on the Application Picker.
The Application&nbsp;Picker is the silk screened button containing a house icon to
the immediate left of the graffiti writing area. The Action Names icon will
probably be the first icon on the screen that now appears. Tap the Action
Names icon to open it.

<P>Note</B>: When you first install Action Names, you will be able to run it for three
days without a permanent license or demo license. To obtain a free 30 day demo

<li type="1">If you downloaded the software from the iambic Software website,
unstuff the Action Names file using your stuffit compression software.
Next, open HotSync Manager on your Mac and select Install from the HotSync
Menu.

<li type="1">Locate the Action Names file (ActNames.prc)
using the Add to List button. Once you locate ActNames.prc., select Open, then
Add File.

called <b>ANIcons-Color.prc</b> and install using the above instructions.

device, tap the Application Picker. You should see the Action Names icon in
alphabetical order with the other Palm applications. Tap the Action Names icon to

<P> To enter the Action Names&nbsp;demo or permanent
license, tap the Palm device menu silkscreen button (round
icon at the bottom left of the Palm device, next to the graffiti writing area).&nbsp;
From the menu bar that appears select&nbsp;<b><i>Options | About&nbsp;Action
Names</i></b> and tap the "Purchasing" button.&nbsp; In the "How Do
I Purchase" screen,&nbsp; tap the "Enter License" button and enter
your license </P>
