Did you catch a funny moment as a voice memo? Use it as a ringtone and remember the moment whenever you get a phone call.
Here's how: Open Voice Memo on your device and highlight the memo you want to turn into a ringtone. Press the Menu button and select Copy as Ringtone. The voice memo is now listed in System Preferences for Sound & Alerts, and you can use it as a ringtone or other alert.
After you record a voice memo, be sure to give it a name that's meaningful to you. That way you can easily remember and locate your important voice memos.
Did you know you can send a voice memo to other Palm® devices? Use the VersaMail® email application to send your voice memo as an attachment, or use Bluetooth® wireless technology to send it to the devices of other Palm users. You can also use the Messaging application found on some Palm handhelds to attach a voice memo to an MMS message (MMS is not available on all devices or for all carriers).
To send a voice memo: Highlight the memo, and then select the Mail icon. Choose how you want to send the memo: Bluetooth or Versamail.
To beam a voice memo to a nearby Palm handheld: Press the Menu button and select Beam.
To quickly scan ahead and back in a voice memo: Press and hold Right or Left on the 5-way navigator during playback of a voice memo.
