MEDPedia is an application
to manage the encyclopedia of medical information available for the palm. No
longer will you have to search though all those icons to find that one program
you are looking for. Simply set
MEDPedia to one of your buttons on your PDA and you are ready to go. Thats all
there is!
Installation
& Setup:
1. Sync the MEDPedia to your PDA.
2. Click on Install
3. You will need to have the necessary PLUGINS
installed on your PDA. Get them here: DOWNLOAD
You MUST INSTALL Plugins
Set-1 and Plugins
Set-2 for MEDPedia to work.
4. Set MEDPedia to your MEMOPAD Button.
5. Just Click your MEMOPAD Button to
Launch MEDPedia.
NOTE: We do
not provide support for the Plugin Packs – They were compiled by individuals
not employed by MEDSYNC, Inc.
Usage:
Use MEDPedia as your
"Main Menu" to all of your medical applications. Simply press
the MEMO key to bring up this main menu.
Troubleshooting:
1. Cant Create Backup – Install a Card or Memory Stick then try
Backup again.
2. “Cant Find Skyscape Databases…” You need to install the demo
version of the Skyscape product you wish to use.
Visit Skyscape.com to
get the programs you need.
3. Known issues - If you get an error message: "Can't find
program XXXX " then it means that you need to install that program in
order for MEDPedia to work. If you do have the program in question installed,
but it is located on the Flash Card and you still get the same error then you
need a utility to convert your flash card to Virtual Ram. Use MSMount to
accomplish this. If you have a Handera Product then you will need to have AutoCF
enabled. If you still get the same error then be sure that you have the latest
version of the program in question and links to it can be found at our website.
