Sorry, I can't be bothered creating any fancy html pages for this freeware program. It's just a quick hack :-)
Have you ever wanted to display your own personal/company logo as a "splash" screen every time you turn on your palmpilot.
Yourlogo allows you to use your own personal bitmap as a splash screen, I have my home phone number on mine so that if anyone finds it they can contact me without needing to know how to use a pilot (of course I also have a label stuck on the back in case the batteries go flat!).
YourLogo
is a program which takes a 160x160 black and white bitmap and produces a logo.prc file for your palm pilot. If installed with hackmaster this program will display a logo for a couple of seconds everytime you turn your pilot on.
Useage
To make your own logo first create a 160x160 two colour black and white bitmap. Some programs don't seem to like making these so I use Paintbrush as supplied with Windows. Then in a Command prompt type
yourlogo bitmap.bmp
a file logo.prc will have been created, load this into your pilot in the usual way.
Then enable it using hackmaster and turn your pilot on and off.
Notes
This file is basically a pre-assembled logohack (by Andrew Howlett) with the bitmap stuck on the end.
It comes as always with no warranty
A note when using Hackmaster, you MUST deselect a hack before deleting it using the memory app, otherwise your pilot will need resetting! I use HackDel to stop this happening, a really usefull hack which can stop all sorts of trouble

Tip
You can add an optional delay to the display by adding another command line option
e.g.
yourlogo mybitmap.bmp 5
Known problems
- If installed with glow hack there can be some trouble uninstalling from hackmaster!
- When hotsyncing from the cradle when the unit is off you must keep the hotsync button pressed until the logo dissapears.
