<p> <a NAME="Installation"></a><span class="header">Installing/Upgrading</span><br>
<b>Installing HandScape for the first time:</b>
<ol>
<li>Extract the packed file. </li>
<li> Open the Palm Desktop program group, and select the "Palm Install Tool".<br>
The Palm Install Tool dialog box appears. </li>
<li> In the User Name drop-down menu, choose the User Name that corresponds
to your Palm Device. </li>
<li> Click the Browse button to locate the 'HandScape.prc' file. </li>
<li> Click on the Install button, and click Done/Exit on the dialog that appears.

<li>Set your Palm in the cradle and perform a HotSync™. </li>
</ol>
<p><b>Upgrading from a previous version of HandScape:</b> <br>
<br>
Install the new HandScape version into your Palm Device, as described above.<br>
The new version will replace the one you currently have.</p>

<p><a name="Uninstalling"></a><span class="header">Uninstalling</span><br>
The best way to delete HandScape is by using the <b>"Uninstall HandScape"</b> program.<br>
Install this program and launch it (you can do it from within HandScape).<br>
If you're not using the uninstaller, follow these steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>Launch HandScape Lite.
<li>If you're using a startup application, set in the preferences of HandScape Lite the "Startup application" to none. <br>
<li>If you set HandScape Lite as your default launcher, uncheck in the preferences of HandScape Lite the "Launcher button will open HandScape Lite". <br>
<li>From the original applications launcher delete HandScape Lite as you delete any other application. <br>
</ol>
<b> We highly recommend using the uninstaller!</b><br>
