A view is a format for displaying records in a record list or even for displaying a record itself. It allows you to choose the fields to be displayed and the size of each column in the list. It is possible then to only have the required information appear when requested.

All databases can use the default view, which displays each field of each record in identically sized columns. This size may be set in Global Preferences.

This view is named All.
