Plugins are distinctive and have been stabilized since version 1.0.0, but an unstable plug-in could mar an application. They should be used with caution.
These plugins do not act directly. They allow you to open a database that would ordinarily not be recognized by Pilot-DB. Drivers are fairly sophisticated; some of them are not able to create new databases or modify the structure. Others can also prevent the creation of records. It is advisable to read the documentation supplied with the plugin.
These plugins allow you to add functionality to the Pilot-DB interface, such as the use of a bar code reader or the transfer of a database to an expansion card.
